Jordan Rodgers’ exposure on The Bachelorette has landed him an exciting new job on TV.

On June 30, FOX Sports’ Clay Travis revealed that Rodgers, the younger brother of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, had been offered a job with the SEC Network.

“So @SECNetwork just gave @JRodgers11 a rose too,” Travis tweeted. “Congrats on the new gig.”

SEC Network is a sports channel owned by ESPN. Neither the network nor Rodgers have announced what the reality star’s new role will involve.

The announcement doesn’t come as a surprise considering Rodgers planned to pursue a full-time career in television. In May, Rodgers’ father Ed told KRCR TV that his son planned to start a career in sportscasting, and that Jordan’s time on the Bachelorette was a stepping stone for getting there. In addition, a source told Us Weekly that Jordan was looking for a way to become famous after he failed to establish a successful football career like his brother.

Chad Johnson, the “villain” of this season’s Bachelorette, was quick to comment on the news, and criticized Rodgers for having ulterior motives. “Looks like @JRodgers11 got what he wanted out of all of this,” he wrote via Twitter. “Way to play your role buddy!”
