Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Family Decides When They’ll Let Go

Reports surrounding the condition of Bobbi Kristina Brown, 21, since her near-drowning on Saturday January 31 have become more and more dire as doctors have told the family there is nothing more they can do while the only daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown remains on life support.
Her devastated family have remained steadfast by her side praying for a recovery and holding a vigil for family and friends and the public to come together to support Bobbi and her family, but reports from Page Six of the New York Post indicate the family has agreed to take her off life support on Wednesday February 11, to share the same death date as her mother, Whitney Houston.
It was her grandmother Cissy Houston who reportedly brought up the idea to the rest of family over the weekend while at the Emory University Hospital where Bobbi is being cared for.
A source told the paper that “the move is a symbolic way to keep the mother and daughter together for eternity,” following the death of Whitney Houston on February 11, 2012 who was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel after complications due to heart failure and drug use.
“This is the only thing they can agree on — that she’s gone [brain-dead], and there’s nothing more than can be done for her,” the source explained.
The source also stated that close family friend Tyler Perry is being relied upon for funeral arrangements as well as keeping peace between the uneasy family, “You wouldn’t think of him as being someone who’d be a peacemaker, but he’s someone both sides really respect.”
There is an on-going investigation into the circumstances of Bobbi’s drowning with foul play being a cause of concern due to injuries found on her face as well as her partner, Nick Gordon’s, history with domestic violence.
