Brooke Shields Lost Her Virginity To Which TV Star?
Published on November 13, 2014.Actress Brook Shields, 49, is dishing on all of the details of her relationship between her and her mom in her new memoir, There Was a Little Girl: The Real Story of My Mother and Me.
While the focus of the book is about Brooke’s challenging relationship with her stage mother Teri Brooke, it also details many of Brooke’s celebrity relationship and even includes details about the 22-year old Brooke losing her virginity to then-boyfriend Dean Cain.
Shield’s mother had control over every aspect of Brooke’s life and was adamant that her daughter remained chaste, a topic that got its own chapter in her teen memoir, The Brooke Book, making her “the most celebrated virgin of our time.”
However, that all changed when Shield’s met Dean Cain while both were attending Princeton University.
“He was incredibly and painfully patient with me regarding sex,” Brooke stated of the future Lois & Clark Superman.
“When mom wasn’t around, I felt as if she was always watching. We were always holding hands and trying to find ways to be alone and kiss, but poor guy, I made him wait and my mom kept track.”
While it may have taken awhile, Brooke finally did decide to lose her virginity to Cain, an experience that was immediately marred by guilt.
“It should have been what I had wished for myself, but in an instant, guilt slapped me in the face. I began to cry deeply and silently…I got so overwhelmed that I jumped out of my bed. Dean leapt up and ran after me with the comforter in his arms. He threw it around me, grabbed me around my shoulders and stopped me from running.”
Shields went on to date some other Hollywood elite including John Travolta, Liam Neeson and JFK Jr., and is now married to husband of 13 years, writer Chris Henchy with whom she has two children.
Brooke’s candid memoir hits shelves on November 18.
