Channing Tatum Does Amazing Interview With A Reporter With Autism

Published on May 4, 2016. Updated August 28, 2019

Throughout his entire career, Channing Tatum has remained one of the most down-to-earth, fun-loving and appreciative stars on the Hollywood A-list, and he always gives spectacular interviews, but this time it was the reporter that stole the show.

Carly Fleischmann is a 21-year-old Canadian who was diagnosed with autism as a child, but has not let it hinder her dreams or amazing personality, and she had Tatum laughing almost the whole time as the charming actor appeared on her episode of her web series, Speechless with Carly Fleischmann.

The title of the series is a play on the fact that Carly communicates through a keyboard, which doesn’t stop her jokes from flowing freely, opening the interview with, “I would like to introduce my first guest ever! He has been a stripper, a police officer, a secret agent, a reporter, a boyfriend to many, and soon he will dump his wife to be with me. I welcome Channing Tatum.” As Tatum laughed, she went right into her first question without missing a beat: “How about that Channing, would you date a 21-year-old person with autism?” He quickly responded with, “Yes, if I got permission from my wife.”

The two then talked about Tatum’s past, and the jokes just kept on coming.
