Chip Gaines celebrated Father’s Day in a hilarious way this year!

In a video shared with PEOPLE, Chip sat down with his children to get their honest opinions on some fan-submitted “dad” jokes.

“Dad jokes get a bad wrap,” Chip says at the beginning of the video. “I appreciate dad jokes as much as the next dad, and I’ve brought my crew of expert dad joke evaluators to determine what’s funny and what’s not.”

The video features the Fixer Upper star with sons Duke, 12, Drake, 15, and Crew, 1, plus daughters Emmie Kay, 10, and Ella Rose, 13.

“If a cow doesn’t produce milk, is it a milk dud or an udder failure?” he says, cracking a smile. Wife Joanna Gaines calls out from the side, “I like that one!” but from the look on the children’s faces, they definitely don’t agree.

Fortunately, not all questions went this way! When he asked, “Have you heard the forecast? Chilly today, hot tamale,” all four of the kids burst out laughing.
