Chris Martin And Gwyneth Paltrow Spend Valentine’s Day As A Family
Published on February 17, 2015.Although Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin “consciously uncoupled” almost a year ago after ten years of marriage, the two were very much together for yet another Valentine’s Day over the weekend.
The two, who frequently spend time together in order to be a family with their children Apple, 10, and Moses, 8, spent Saturday February 14 on the beach in Malibu, California.
“Valentine’s Day was all about their kids. Gwyneth and Chris had planned a fun beach day for Apple and Moses. [They] spent several hours on the beach. Gwyneth and Chris were friendly, as they always are. Chris spent most of the time with the kids in the ocean, and Gwyneth stayed with friends on the beach. Chris even surfed with the kids. He is a great dad and very patient,” a source told People magazine about the A-lister’s family outing.
Friendly is definitely the appropriate term for the two as other witnesses said Martin and Paltrow did spend some time together which included a stroll down the beach with their arms linked. “She initiated the contact and wanted to be close to him. He didn’t seem to mind and they walked like that for awhile.”
While Chris was staying close to his estranged wife on the romantic day, his current girlfriend, Jennifer Lawrence spent the weekend in Boston. Lawrence was supposed to begin filming for her new movie Joy but it had to be postponed due to the heavy snow hitting the area, however she was also spotted out and about enjoying a dinner with friends.
Although reports stated that Martin and Lawrence first broke up because she was uncomfortable with his relationship with Paltrow, it seems Lawrence doesn’t mind anymore, “She understands that the children come first with Chris and his relationship with Gwyneth is based around the family and it will always be a part of his life. Things are good between them,” a friend stated when it was revealed the pair were back together.
