Chris Martin Buys House Across From Gwyneth Paltrow
Published on October 7, 2014. Updated October 15, 2014Only a few months ago actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, “consciously uncoupled”, ending their marriage of ten years.
However, the two seem to be on very good terms after reports that Martin bought a house across the street from his ex and even threw her a birthday party there.
Sources close to the couple stated that Martin bought the 7,700 square foot house for $6.75 million and its proximity to Paltrow allows for the couple’s two kids, Apple and Moses, who currently live with their mother, to be with whichever parent, whenever they want.
After Gwyneth’s mom, Blythe Danner, helped Martin move in, the rocker threw Paltrow’s 42nd birthday party in the courtyard, hosting many famous friends including Kate Hudson, Nicole Ritchie and Gavin Rossdale. Martin had beautiful lights and directions set up as well as rectangular tables filled with food and chairs facing each other so everyone could eat and interact easily.
Sounds like someone is trying to keep in his ex’s good graces after he apparently started dating Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence who is 13 years his junior.
Although there are reports that Gwyneth is OK with Chris and Jennifer dating, Jennifer was not present at the party and Gwyneth is definitely not ready for Jennifer to meet her kids. While they may be “conciously” separated it certainly seems the two are still very close and not just because they are neighbors now.
