Christina Aguilera’s Adorable Daughter Covers People Magazine
Published on February 11, 2015.Christina Aguilera has herself a little mini-me and it is clear that 5-month old Summer Rain is going to take after her gorgeous mother.
The 34-year old pop diva gave the world the first glimpses of her adorable new baby as they pose on the cover of People magazine’s February 23 issue, where she discussed her first baby with fiancé Matt Rutler. Although Summer Rain is clearly a beautiful baby the first glimpse of her little face on the cover reveals huge unnaturally blue eyes, making her almost look doll-like, but since these are the first pictures of the little cutie it is hard to determine if little Summer Rain was photoshopped.
“I was speechless. She was literally like an angel…We had an immediate bond, and I felt unexplainably connected to her and her spirit,” Aguilera revealed about the first moments with Summer Rain after giving birth on August 16, 2014.
Now 5-months later Aguilera and Rutler are getting to know their daughter’s personality more and more and couldn’t be any more taken with her. “Her smile lights up a room and I know it melts mama and daddy’s hearts. She laughs a ton and is easy to make smile. She just wants to be where the action is!”
Aguilera added, “They are the center of my universe,” referring to Summer Rain and her son Max Liron, 7, with ex-husband Jordan Bratman, but that doesn’t mean she is giving up her career.
“It’s definitely not easy juggling work and motherhood, as being a parent is a full-time job within itself. You just have to make it work for you. My life has so many different moving parts, but my kids are the center focal piece, and everything else shifts around them.”
Aguilera will be adjusting to all those moving parts on February 23 when she returns for season 8 of NBC’s The Voice, after taking a season off to focus on her personal life.
