With only nine couples remaining, the competition for season 27 of Dancing With the Stars is really heating up, and there is no night better than Disney Night!

On Monday, October 22, all the remaining couples danced with Disney themes for some truly spectacular results, but of course some were better than others! Find out how the night went and who was or wasn’t sent home during elimination.

The night started off incredibly strong with a Foxtrot to “Just Around the Riverbend” from Pocahontas from Alexis Ren and Alan Berseten. The judges loved the emotion and fluidity of the dance leaving the pair with a high score of 29 out of 30. Alexis and Alan’s high didn’t last for long as Juan Pablo Di Pace and Cheryl Burke were right behind them with an incredible Viennese Waltz to “Gaston” from Beauty and the Beast. Everyone was blown away by the truly theatrical production which also earned them a 29 out of 30.

While Milo Manheim and Witney Carson have become accustomed to the top of the leader board they fell slightly this week when they earned a 27 out of 30 for their Quickstep to “Incredits 2” from Incredibles 2. While Carrie Ann and Bruno loved the dance, Len had critiques which kept them from a perfect score. Coming just behind them were DeMarcus Ware and Lindsay Arnold who scored a 26 with their Charleston to “A Star is Born” from Hercules.

In the middle of the pack was Mary Lou Retton and Sasha Farber who earned a 25 for their Contemporary dance to “Reflection” from Mulan. Two teams earned 24 out of 30, including Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe who danced a Jazz to “When Will My Life Begin?” from Tangled. Meanwhile John Schneider and Emma Slater also earned a 24 for their Quickstep to “I Wan’na Be Like You” from The Jungle Book.

Once again at the bottom were Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess and Joe Amabile and Jenna Johnson. Bobby and Sharna earned a 21 for their Waltz to “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid while Joe and Jenna were once again stuck with a 17 for their Jive to “Zero” from Ralph Breaks the Internet.

While couples don’t normally get sent home on Disney Night, Tom and Erin had everyone on edge when they announced that two very strong duos in DeMarcus and Lindsay and Alexis and Alan were in jeopardy. Luckily, it was just a scare tactic as no one was eliminated and all couples will be back for Halloween Night.
