Following the terrifying and traumatic events of earlier this week involving Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans’ husband David Eason, it seems that Eason will not be charged…unless Jenelle comes forward.

As previously reported, Jenelle left the home she shares with Eason in North Carolina after he allegedly shot and killed their pet bulldog Nugget.

Following the reports, Eason seemingly confirmed his actions and even defended what he had done in an Instagram post in which he shared a video of the dog snapping at their 2-year-old daughter Ensley when she put her face right up to the dog’s.

Alongside the video he wrote, “I dont give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that shit at all.”

He added, “I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isnt the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”

Jenelle later posted her own emotional tribute to her pet and told Us Weekly that she is now considering divorce from David because of his actions.

Meanwhile fans and the public who have heard about the story are calling for David to be charged, but according to TMZ who spoke to the Sheriff’s Department in their county, they are not taking any action unless Jenelle files a report on the incident.

A law enforcement source told TMZ  that authorities performed a welfare check at the house where David told cops Nugget was alive, although he would not let them see the dog therefore the cops have no evidence showing anything happened to the dog.

The Columbus County Sheriff’s Dept. reportedly contacted Animal Control, but said in terms of further investigation or a charge, Jenelle would need to make a report on her own. The officers also said they won’t act on “sensationalized media reports or social media posts.” The source said it’s irrelevant to cops what Jenelle says on IG.
