Diem Brown Death: Truly Touching Memorial Video
Published on November 20, 2014.MTV star Diem Brown passed away on November 14 after a lengthy and brave battle with cancer and her family has now released the touching memorial video which was played at her funeral (see video below).
Today, Brown’s ex and fellow MTV cast-mate Chris “CT” Tamburello is also speaking out, thanking fans for the support in the difficult time.
On Thursday November 20, two days after Brown’s funeral, CT took to his Instagram to show his thanks, “Hello everyone, My family, and I, want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and kind words you all have shown me during the hardest time of my life. I honestly did not expect to receive so much support. I am going to take some time for myself. And before I go, I thought it was appropriate to let everyone know that you are all appreciated. Thank you so very much!,” he posted along with a photo of him holding yellow roses alongside his parents.
Diem and CT met on MTV’s The Duel in 2006 and dated off and on for several years and competed together in 2012’s Challenge: Battle of the Exes where they came in second place.
Although they weren’t together at the time of her death, they remained close and CT shared many pictures and messages including a picture of him holding her hand at her hospital bedside.
After her death he posted a touching tribute to Diem on Instagram writing, “You have always been My Angel. And now you have your wings. We’ve been thru so much over the years. Thru the ups and downs we somehow managed to keep our promise. We never gave up on each other. Our plan to be together forever hasn’t changed… it’s just going to take a little longer now. And I’m going to hold onto this ring for you till we are together again. So don’t worry mama, I’m not afraid. I know you will always be with me to me your strength. You are The Love of My Life. My reason to be a better man. I Love You Always and Forever.”
Along with the emotional tribute he posted a picture surrounded by rosary beads and the ring he has for her.
