Grammy Nominations 2015 Are In: Who’s Nominated?
Published on December 8, 2014. Updated January 29, 2018The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday February 8 on CBS and all the nominations for the huge awards show were announced on Friday December 5.
Hit makers Ed Sheeran and Pharrell Williams were on CBS in the morning to announce the first round of nominations for the 2015 awards ceremony with more feeding in throughout the day except for Album of the Year that will be announced during “A Very Grammy Christmas” special on CBS at 9pm.
As well as making the album announcement many of the nominees will be performing during the special including Sam Smith, Ariana Grande and Big Sean.
Stars such as Ryan Seacrest and Jared Leto were continually updating fans about nominations with 83 categories in total and so far pop singer Sam Smith has been nominated for pretty much every category he is eligible for.
Some of the top category nominees include Iggy Azalea, Sia, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, Meghan Trainor for Record of the Year.
While Best Pop Vocal Album includes the likes of Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, and Sam Smith.
Meanwhile country superstars have their names in the hat for Best Country Album with nominees being, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Brandy Clark, Miranda Lambert and Lee Ann Wormack.
