HGTV Stars Tarek And Christina El Moussa Split After Scary Fight

For a long time HGTV fans have loved Flip or Flop stars Christina and Tarek El Moussa, who are the seemingly perfect couple, but it seems things are not nearly as perfect as they appear on-camera.

A report from TMZ states that the beloved stars have now split following a fight which included a possible suicide attempt and guns. According to reports, the problems between the two began in May when officers responded to “a call of a possibly suicidal male with a gun” at the couple’s home in Orange County.

When authorities arrived they witnessed Tarek take a gun from a safe and run out of a door and “flee” down a nearby hiking trail, and when officers caught up to him he dropped his weapon and informed them he had no intention of going to hurt himself and only wanted to “blow off some steam.”

Back at their home, five guns were seized, and the pair have decided to separate and are now calling the incident an “unfortunate misunderstanding,” and added they will continue to co-parent their co-children, stating, “We will continue to work through this process civility and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together.”
