Jim Parsons Pens Sweet Note For 14-Year Anniversary With Todd Spiewak

Jim Parsons may just be TV’s biggest actor thanks to his starring role on The Big Bang Theory, but he rarely opens up about his personal life, except on special occasions.
On Tuesday, November 15, the actor took to his Instagram to share a very sweet note in honor of his 14th anniversary with his boyfriend Todd Spiewak. Parsons shared a throwback photo of the two along with the caption, “I met this guy (the one with the mic) 14 years ago today and it was the best thing that ever happened to me, no contest.”
He continued, “One of his greatest gifts to me is that he no longer takes me to sing karaoke. Also, I believe this was a selfie with an actual camera, as our phones couldn’t do that back then hahaha! #todd #anniversary.”
Although Parsons was never hiding his sexuality, for many years he did not discuss it until he quietly went public with the information in a 2012 New York Times interview. When asked if his role in the play Harvey perhaps meant more to him as a gay man, he simply responded, “Yeah. Yeah, I guess it does,” and added that he was in a 10-year relationship at that point.
