Josh Duggar and Wife Welcome Their Sixth Child, Daughter Maryella Hope
Published on November 28, 2019.Josh Duggar and his wife Anna welcomed their sixth child, daughter Maryella Hope, on Wednesday, November 27, at 9:12 a.m. The newborn weighed 8 lbs., 2 oz., and measured 20.5 inches long.
“Maryella Hope arrived one day ahead of Thanksgiving Day 2019 and a great reminder to be grateful for all God has done for us!” Anna announced the news on Instagram.
“We are so excited and thankful to God for His special blessing giving us this precious, happy & healthy baby girl!” she added to the post alongside several photos of her newborn daughter.
Josh and Anna are also parents to 10-year-old Mackynzie, 8-year-old Michael, 6-year-old Marcus, 4-year-old Meredith, and 2-year-old Mason.
The couple announced the news that they were pregnant with their sixth baby back in April.
“We are so excited to announce that we are expecting a new little one!” Anna captioned her Instagram post at the time. “As we watch our children grow and thrive — we look forward to baby six joining us this fall! #littleduggars.”
Later in June, the couple revealed the sex of their baby with a video in where one of their sons poured water over a gold beehive, which then bubbled over with pink foam.
“It’s a girl!” their kids exclaimed while jumping up and down in excitement.
“This is the 6th gender reveal for our little family and it always so exciting!” Anna captioned the video. “Each child God has given us is unique and special — we all look forward to the arrival of our daughter / sister this fall!”
