Juan Pablo And Nikki Ferrell Break Up: Nikki Speaks Out
Published on November 14, 2014.Nikki Ferrell has broken her silence about her breakup from Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis.
The couple broke up around Oct 29, Nikki’s 28th birthday — and it’s not surprising to hear how it went down: via text.
“It all played out over a couple of days, right before my birthday,” Nikki explained in an interview with Life & Style magazine.
“We were just going back and forth through texting. He was questioning the relationship, and I was questioning it back. I sent him a message saying, ‘We should fight for this. We should work this out.’ And he didn’t respond.”
Sometimes the lack of an answer is the answer itself!
Nikki says that she didn’t want Juan Pablo to ruin her birthday, so she blocked him on Twitter and deleted his number from her phone.
Fans knew the breakup might be coming, since Nikki wrote on instagram two weeks earlier, that you shouldn’t “waste so much time on certain people and in the end they prove that they weren’t even worth a second of it.”
“In hindsight, I probably shouldn’t have done that. I’m a tad bit impulsive,” she admitted in the interview.
The writing has been on the wall with Nikki and Juan Pablo for a while. They didn’t even seem to like each other on the show, and once it ended, she didn’t want to leave Kansas City and he didn’t want to leave Miami.
“We weren’t willing to make the sacrifices or compromises to meet in the middle and make it work,” she said.
