Kanye West’s Armenia Concert Shut Down After He Jumps Into Lake
Published on April 13, 2015.Maybe he was getting a little too hot performing on stage, maybe he just wanted to do something crazy or maybe just because he could, superstar Kanye West jumped into Swan Lake during his Armenian concert.
West put on the free lakeside concert while in Armenia with his wife Kim Kardashian, her sister Khloe and of course Kim and Kanye’s daughter North West, who were all their to explore and learn more about their family’s heritage.
During his performance of “Good Life” West, who always likes to do the unexpected, decided to jump into the water after asking the crowd on the other side if they could see him. “It’s a problem. Can y’all see me over there? We’re going to do something different, like, like, like we always do,” he shouted before taking the plunge.
Of course, he probably didn’t anticipate the fact the excited crowd would take that as an invitation to jump in alongside the star. A mob of fans, as well as reporters and photographers all went splashing in as well, resulting in security guards also having to rush in to rescue West from the fray and police shutting down the concert entirely.
After the show Kim took to her Twitter to post a photo of Kanye in the water along with the caption, “Crazy night! Kanye wakes me up & says he’s doing a free concert in Yerevan, Armenia! I throw on sweats & we go!”
She went on to add, “Thousands of people were there! Kanye jumped in swan lake to be closer to the crowd on the other side & so many people jumped in too! Such an exciting crazy night! So happy I got to rock out with everyone in Armenia on our last night here!!!! #EpicNight #ArmenianPride.”
