Kate Middleton And Prince William Conduct Video Call To The Children Of Healthcare Workers

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are still continuing their work from the comfort of their home!

On Wednesday, the couple conducted a video call to a school in northern England where the children of essential workers are being taught and cared for. The call marked the first time Kate and William held an entire royal engagement virtually.

The royal duo thanked and applauded the teachers and school staff at Casterton Primary Academy for their dedication during this time. “Well done, honestly, to you and everyone who’s in during this time. It must be such a relief for all the parents who are key workers to know that the normality is there for their children — they’ve got the structure and they’ve got a safe place for them to be, so really really well done to all of you,” Kate said during the call.

William added, “We just want to say a huge thank you to you guys and well done in keeping it all going. Please pass on many messages of support for all the staff and all the volunteers — they’re doing a great job.”

Kate and Will also chatted with some of the children staying at the school. Some of the children showed Kate and William pictures they had drawn, many of which were portraits of the children’s parents to show them how proud they are.
