Kate Middleton Just Wore An Outfit Reminiscent Of Her Pre-Royal Days
Published on January 7, 2020.Kate Middleton is kicking off her birthday week looking fabulous!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hosted a gathering with friends over the weekend to celebrate Kate’s upcoming birthday. The gathering took place at the royal couple’s country home at Anmer Hall in Norfolk and Kate wore her an iconic outfit to celebrate.
The Duchess wore a speckled plum and brown funnel-neck coat paired with heeled Stuart Weitzman boots. She accessorized with a black clutch, gloves and one standout accessory — a blue fedora by Hicks & Brown!
Kate used to rock fedoras back in the day during her pre-royal days, so it’s clearly an accessory she’s fond of. We haven’t seen her wear them as much during her reign as Duchess, so it was nice to see her returning to her roots. This particular fedora she wore for her birthday celebration was a lovely shade of royal blue with a brown textured trim. It’s a much more polished, royal-appropriate version of her old favorite. In her past, she’s favored a more casual brown fedora with a brown braided trim.
