Cavallari listed the date of separation as April, 7, the same day their family returned home from the Bahamas, where they were stuck for three weeks due to the ongoing public health situation. Meanwhile, Cutler listed the date of separation as April 21, the same day he filed separation.
Cavallari announced her split from Cutler via Instagram on Sunday, April 26, writing, “We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.”
Later that same day, she removed the word “wife” from her Instagram bio.
Cavallari and Cutler began dating in 2010 and married in Nashville in June 2013.
