Kristoff St. John’s Ex-Wife Reveals She Was Hospitalized After His Death

Following the sudden and shocking death of beloved The Young and the Restless actor Kristoff St. John last week, his ex-wife, Mia St. John revealed she was hospitalized.

She opened up about the news on Saturday, February 9, nearly a week after St. John’s passing.

“I’m out of the hospital. I’m sorry if I scared anyone,” she wrote. “Let’s plz focus on the wellness of his precious girls Lols & Paris.”

“They love their father so much, the beautiful, loving, funny soul that he was/is,” she continued, adding a green heart emoji. “#MentalHealth is all we have, nothing else is important.”

Following the news of his passing, Mia also tweeted then deleted an angry message about the care of those with mental health referencing the death of her sun Julian whom she shared with Kristoff. Julian died by suicide in 2014 at the age of 24 while in a treatment facility. Mia went on to found the El Saber es Poder (Knowledge is Power) Foundation to battle mental illness.

Kristoff also shares daughter Paris with Mia, as well as daughter Lola with ex-wife Allana Nadal.

Mia St. John also shared another tribute to her ex-husband on Sunday, February 10, posting a photo of St. John in a group. “Remembering @kristoffstjohn1 giving back & all he did for others He loved these kids Free acting & self expression classes,” she wrote, tagging the non-profit organization Step Up on Second, which provides support for individuals experiencing mental health issues and chronic homelessness. She also tagged Daniel’s Place, one of Step Up’s programs.

Along with Mia’s touching tributes, following Kristoff’s sudden death at 52, his fiancee model Kseniya Mikhaleva shared a heartbreaking post, and on Sunday shared another. “You were the light for me and for many people, you were the kindest person I’ve ever met,” Russian-born model Kseniya Mikhaleva wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of the pair smiling and embracing each other. “You were a talented actor, a loving father, and a friend with a golden heart. Your soul and spirit always with me. I wish I could have been there to let you know how much you mean to me. You are deep in my heart,” she continued. ”Im praying for your family. Rest in paradise RIP.”
