Liam Hemsworth’s Sister-in-Law, Elsa Pataky, Refuses To Answer Questions About Him
Published on November 27, 2019.Last week, Liam Hemsworth’s sister-in-law, Elsa Pataky, was quoted in Hola! magazine saying that her 29-year-old in-law “deserves much better” than Miley Cyrus, his now ex-wife.
After ten years of dating and seven months of marriage, Hemsworth and Cyrus ended their relationship in August. The news of their split came as the singer was spotted kissing Kaitlynn Carter while on vacation in Italy, and then began dating Cody Simpson shortly after.
“My brother-in-law, well… After a relationship that you’ve dedicated ten years to, he’s a little bit down, but he’s coping well,” Pataky told the publication. “He’s a strong boy and he deserves the best, I think he deserves much better.”
“I always find support in your family, and he’s joined at the hip with his brother, who has been there to give all the strength he needed.”
The 43-year-old wife of Chris Hemsworth, who’s on a promotional tour for new fitness book Strong: How to Eat, Move and Live with Strength and Vitality, appeared on the Australian morning TV show Sunrise on Wednesday morning, and her comments made about Cyrus were brought up. Now, it seems Pataky has decided to not comment on her brother-in-law’s personal life after her comments about Cyrus were widely reported.
“Now, you recently spoke to Hola! magazine. Tell us, how is Liam doing?” asked Sunrise host Natalie Barr.
“Look, Liam is doing great. But I prefer not to talk about his private life. He is the one that has to talk about it,” Pataky said in order to change the subject quickly.
“But he is getting happier and he has his family to just go and stay with, his brothers and best friend,” she added. “So that’s good, and he spent some time with us.”
