Mad Men Star Jessica Pare Is Pregnant
Published on October 29, 2014.Hit show Mad Men may be coming to the end but star Jessica Pare is just gearing up for another very exciting time in her life as it has been revealed she is pregnant.
While the announcement is only making headlines now, Pare, 33, and her boyfriend John Kastner actually shared the news awhile ago.
In September, Kastner posted a photo on Instagram revealing the pregnancy.
The photo shows Pare and Kastner hugging in the background as Kastner’s 7-year old daughter, Summer Lee, is in the front with a big smile, wearing a shirt that says, “I’m going to be a big sister.”
Pare, who stars as Megan Draper in Mad Men and fellow French-Canadian Kastner, who is a musician and singer, first began dating in 2012 but have kept their relationship pretty low profile.
Pare was previously married to writer and producer Joseph M. Smith for three years but divorced in 2010, whereas Kastner was previously married to actress Nicole DeBoer with whom he shares daughter Summer Lee who was featured in the baby announcement.
Before her pregnancy announcement, Pare discussed the ending of the show Mad Men stating, “I do feel like the end of Mad Men is sort of a coming to age. There was before Mad Men, and there’s after, and that’s what we’re talking about here tonight in terms of the milestone moments in a woman’s life. We’re moving and we’re growing.”
Pare is also gearing up to reprise her role as Tara in Hot Tub Time Machine 2, set to come out February 2015.
