Nick Gordon Speaks Out, Releases Statement Through Lawyers
Published on February 13, 2015.While all the drama and rumors circulate about Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition as she remains in hospital, many are wondering where her longtime love Nick Gordon is, while the rest of her family remains by her bedside.
Gordon was in the house when his friend Max Lomas found 21-year old Bobbi Kristina facedown in the filled bathtub and Gordon performed CPR until paramedics arrived, but after the incident information about Gordon and Brown’s violent history has been made more and more public.
With the news that Gordon was abusive to Brown in the past, he has not been seen at the hospital and has not spoken out about his girlfriend’s conditions or the events leading up to the near drowning but has now released a statement through his lawyers making it clear he is not seeking legal action to be able to see her.
“In response to reports that Nick Gordon is taking legal action, he would like to be clear, he is not,” his lawyer Randy Kessler said in a statement. “Mr. Gordon’s only concern is the recovery of Bobbi Kristina. He remains in constant prayer for his companion and he hopes to be reunited with her soon. Despite the incredible public interest, we ask and hope that his request can be resolved privately by Mr. Gordon and the family.”
The statement comes after one of Bobbi’s cousins gave an interview saying that Gordon had been barred from seeing Bobbi Kristina at the hospital by her family.
Bobbi Kristina has now been in unresponsive for 14 days and police confirmed the matter is a criminal investigation with Gordon at the center for suspect foul play.
