Paris Hilton’s Brother Conrad Charged With Disrupting A FlightPublished on February 4, 2015.
It seems the days of Paris Hilton creating trouble and causing headlines is over but her little brother Conrad, 20, is more than happy to pick up the slack of being an over-indulged young adult.
On Tuesday February 3, Conrad was charged with interfering with a flight crew during a flight from London back in July where he went on a complete tirade after being told to sit down and buckle his seat belt during the flight’s ascent, moments after take-off, as reported by TMZ.
Hilton was told several times to take his seat and responded with an expletive filled rant telling the crew, “I’m going to f–king kill you,” and “I will f–king own anyone on this flight; they are f–king peasants.”
He then allegedly grabbed an attendant’s shirt and said, “I could get you all fired in 5 minutes. I know your boss! My father will pay this out. He has done it before. Dad paid $300,000 last time.”
Hilton’s rant frightened passengers on the flight, as well as children who reportedly began to cry and he further disrupted the flight by smoking both cigarettes and marijuana in the restrooms before finally falling asleep and was subsequently handcuffed to his chair for the remainder of the flight.
Hilton’s lawyer, Robert Shapiro, has confirmed that Conrad took a sleeping pill before the flight and proposes that the pill made him act that way and he was not himself.
Hilton attended court on Tuesday and acknowledged that he understands his rights and the charge and the fact he could face a 20 year prison term if convicted to which he stated, “Yes, your honor.”
Hilton is out on a $100,000 bail until his arraignment on March 5 and was ordered to surrender his passport and remain in California. He also has to continue mental health treatment stemming from the fact he checked himself into rehab immediately after the flight in July.
