Paul Walker’s Girlfriend Completely Heartbroken Over His Death (Video)
Published on December 2, 2013. Updated October 15, 2014Fast & Furious star Paul Walker died tragically in a car accident over the holiday weekend, leaving behind scores of stunned Hollywood friends, as well as his girlfriend, Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell.
Paul, a longtime car fanatic, attended a charity event and toy drive at car shop Always Evolving before getting into a Porsche Carrera GT driven by his friend Roger Rodas. Roger also lost his life when the vehicle crashed into a tree and caught fire.
Jasmine (23) and Paul (40) (you can see pics of them together here) first met seven years ago when Jasmine was just 16 years old. Jasmine’s uncle Barton Bruner said that the couple was on-again, off-again, but was together at the time of Paul’s death and planned on building a future together. Jasmine is being comforted by her mother Julie during this difficult time of grief.
Paul also leaves behind a 15 year-old daughter, Meadow.
The Hollywood community is also shocked and saddened by Paul’s death. A number of celebrities have spoken out about his talent, work ethic, polite demeanor and passion for charitable projects, especially marine biology.
Paul’s Fast & Furious co-stars were especially affected. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson sent wishes of strength to Paul’s family via Twitter; Tyrese Gibson was seen shedding tears at the site of the crash in Santa Clarita, CA. Jessica Alba started a tribute via Instagram. The Rock, Vin Diesel and Ludacris all referred to Paul as a brother in tributes that celebrated their co-star’s spirit and personality. Jordana Brewster expressed shock that Paul was gone.
The seventh Fast & Furious movie has mostly been shot and will still be released, though it is currently delayed. Paul also starred in a film called The Hours, which will go ahead with its release on December 13 of this year.
