With only days to go before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s big day, more and more details about what to expect from the wedding are unfolding, and now the pair have released their official bridal party via Kensington Palace.
Thanks to Meghan Markle’s TV stardom, many thought her bridal party would be filled with her gorgeous actress friends, but they have an adorable surprise for their wedding party instead — they are all kids!
On Wednesday, May 16, Kensington Palace released the official list of bridesmaids and page boys, and it is sure to be one heartwarming procession.
For Meghan’s bridesmaids, she has chosen, Princess Charlotte, 3, who is of course Prince Harry’s niece. Charlotte will be joined by Miss Florence van Cutsem, 3, who is the daughter of Alice van Cutsem and Major Nicholas van Cutsem and also Prince Harry’s goddaughter. Next up are Remi, 6, and Rylan, 7, Litt, goddaughters of Ms. Markle and daughters of Mrs. Benita Litt and Mr. Darren Litt. Then there is Ivy Mulroney, 4, who is the daughter of Meghan’s best friend Jessica Mulroney and her husband Benedict “Ben” Mulroney, son of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney. Rounding out the bridesmaids is Miss Zalie Warren, 2, daughter of Zoe Warren and Jake Warren, and a goddaughter of Harry.
For Prince Harry’s page boys he will of course have his 4-year-old nephew Prince George as well as Jasper Dyer, 6, godson of Prince Harry, son of Mrs. Amanda Dyer and Mr. Mark Dyer. The two will be joined by Jessica and Brian Mulroney’s twin sons Brian and John, 7.
As previously reported, Meghan will not be having a maid of honor: “She has a very close-knit circle of friends and she didn’t want to choose one over another,” a palace spokesman said. “All have been actively involved in helping her prepare for the day and will be there in the days beforehand. She’s very happy to have their support.” Meanwhile, Prince Harry has asked his brother Prince William to stand with him as his best man, just as Harry did for William’s 2011 wedding to Kate Middleton.
