Robert Pattinson Puts A Ring On It…Sort Of

Robert Pattinson, 28, and his girlfriend singer FKA Twigs, 27, have had a very whirlwind relationship so far and it shows no signs of slowing down yet as the pair are reportedly both sporting promise rings with an engagement not far off.

Sources tell E!News that the Twilight star gave his girlfriend a ring in December and she was “ecstatic” to get it from him. Pattinson later invited his friends to what they called an “I-want-to-marry-you-dinner,” telling them of the step in his relationship.

While the pair made it very clear the ring is not an engagement ring, many believe it will be coming very soon for the couple with some speculating as early as this summer.

“There is a special connection between the two of them. Music is a big part of the relationship, because it means so much to them. They clicked instantly and they literally have been inseparable,” a friend said of their quick and intense romance.

Pattinson and Twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Barnett, were first seen flaunting their relationship in public in October and even then his friends were already stating he was in love. “He looks like he’s really in love. Honestly, it was miles and miles away from what it was like when he was with Kristen.”

Clearly they were right as by December Pattinson brought her home to meet his parents and, of course, gave her the promise ring. Sounds like wedding bells won’t be too far off.
