Scarlett Johansson And Husband Colin Jost Welcome First Baby Together

Scarlett Johansson and husband Colin Jost have welcomed their first child!

Johansson’s rep Marcel Pariseau confirmed to PEOPLE that the actress and and Saturday Night Live star husband recently welcomed their first baby. While this baby marks the couple’s first child together, Johansson is also mom to 6-year-old daughter Rose Dorothy.

There had been speculation for months that Johansson might be expecting, but it was never confirmed until quite recently. Jost briefly mentioned that he and Johansson were expecting this past Sunday during a stand-up performance at The Ridgefield Playhouse in Connecticut.

On Wednesday, Jost took to Instagram and shared a statement revealing that they welcomed a baby boy named Cosmo. “Ok ok we had a baby. His name is Cosmo. We love him very much. Privacy would be greatly appreciated,” he wrote on Instagram with the hashtags “#wegotawaywithitforalongtime, #nokidspolicy, #we’regoingtodisneyworld” 

Johansson and Jost got engaged in May 2019 after two years of dating. The couple wed in an intimate ceremony the following year in October 2020.
