Scarlett Johansson Is Married – Reports Confirmed
Published on December 2, 2014.Unfortunately for celebrities of every kind from movie stars, to TV stars, as well as models, athletes and singers, when you live your life in the public eye, all secrets -the good, the bad and the insignificant- all come to light one way or another.
While Scarlett Johannson did her best to keep it private, her secret has been revealed and for once it is a happy one, as it is confirmed that she and Romain Dauriac did get married back in October.
Dauriac, who is the owner of his own advertising agency and actress Johansson began dating in 2012 and they announced their engagement in September 2013 although the proposal apparently happened a month before.
Six months later they then announced they were expecting a baby and welcomed a daughter Rose in September 2014.
While it was reported they wanted to wait until after the birth of their daughter to wed, there was no news of a wedding or even wedding plans until Johansson arrived at an event in November wearing a wedding band.
The private couple declined to confirm their marriage status but a source revealed they had married in “a very intimate ceremony” and they “kept the wedding a big secret because they both wanted privacy.”
After the news was discovered, a clerk for Granite County confirmed Dauriac and Johansson wed in Philipsburg, Montana on October 1 at the Ranch at Rock Creek.
This is the second marriage for Johansson who was previously married to Ryan Reynolds who is now married and expecting his first child with Blake Lively.
Although they are private, Johansson speculated her family could possibly move to Dauriac’s native France at some point stating, “I’ve been thinking lately that maybe it’s good to move to some faraway country where you can ski.”
