Taylor Swift Shocked At Kanye’s ‘B–ch’ Diss In New TrackPublished on February 12, 2016.
Feud back on? Even though for years now Kanye West and Taylor Swift have insisted that everything is good between them since the now infamous 2009 VMA’s incident when West interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech. Judging by West’s new track, everything won’t be good between them anymore.
Last night at his Yeezy fashion show/listening party for his new album The Life of Pablo, West unveiled the lyrics for his “Famous” track in which he raps, “For all my Southside n—-s who will know me best/I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why, I made that b–ch famous/ God damn/ I made that b–ch famous.” Many were shocked by the lyrics, including Taylor Swift’s family, friends and team with her spokesperson telling People, “Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that b–ch famous.'”
Although Swift hasn’t responded directly, many of her friends have jumped to her defence, some of whom were at the show such as Jamie King who wrote on Twitter, “I’m so sad right now & disappointed right now. I stand by my sister. Always.” As well as Gigi Hadid who wrote, “My attendance somewhere does not mean I agree with everything being said in the music playing there. My friends know of my loyalty.” Swift’s brother Austin also took to his social media to show his displeasure with West by posting a video to Instagram of himself throwing out a pair of grey Yeezy 350 boots along with the caption, “Getting a head start on some spring cleaning. Here we go again.”
