For the gender reveal, the 27-year-old reality star and her three songs – 10-year-old Issac, 6-year-old Lincoln, and 2-year-old Lux – pulled handheld confetti cannons filled with blue confetti. Lowry shares Isaac with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera; Lincoln with ex-husband Javi Marroquin; and Lux with Lopez.
On Monday, February 10, Lowry told E! News that even though she’s “never found out the sex of the baby before the birth,” the reality star is “so excited, there’s just something so special about a mother and her sons.”
On the same day, Lowry shared a series of Instagram Story videos opening up about her anxiety that she’s been experiencing before news of her pregnancy broke.
“So now that all the news is out — the pregnancy confirmation and the sex of the child — I hope that my anxiety dreams go away,” she said. “I feel like this entire thing I was confused about and didn’t know what to do. And then people leaked it before I was ready. Here we are weeks later and everything is out there.”
“I mean, I feel better but I’m hoping that maybe some of the anxiety will go away. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you guys who support me and have commented nice things and just been supportive along the way because it hasn’t been easy that’s for sure,” Lowry continued. “I literally will text Chelsea [Houska] and be like, ‘How should I stay private? How should I do this? What do I do?’ So thank you all. I really do appreciate it. I know the boys will be thankful that you all were supportive.”
Last week, Lowry announced her pregnancy via social media to her fans.
“I’m almost 16 weeks pregnant & it’s been a rough few months this time around. I’ve had nausea, morning sickness, and absolutely no energy. This week I’m starting to feel a bit better and I’m really hoping it stays this way,” Lowry captioned a photo of her with her children, holding a sonogram. “Going through nausea and morning sickness while trying to keep the news a secret can be quite isolating.”
