Teen Mom 2’s Jenelle Evans Shares Emotional Post After Her Husband David Shot Her Dog

Published on May 1, 2019. Updated May 21, 2019

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Eason [Evans] has broken her silence after reports surfaced that her husband David Eason had shot and killed her beloved bulldog, Nugget. Jenelle shared a photo of herself with Nugget and wrote, “Nugget… I’m crying everyday. I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless.”

She continued, “You were my side kick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me. You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons. Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here, when I go to bed… you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back. #Heartbroken #Distraught.”

Jenelle’s post came shortly after David took to his own Instagram to defend himself after he shot and killed Nugget following an incident where the dog “snapped” at the couple’s 2-year-old daughter Ensley. David shared a video of Ensley getting really close to Nugget’s face before the dog reacted.

Alongside the video he wrote, “I dont give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that shit at all.”

He added, “I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isnt the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”

After the incident Jenelle reportedly left her home and returned to only “pack a bag” with the source adding that the reality star “doesn’t feel safe with David” and “is scared and terrified” of him.

Reports indicate that the incident is under investigation by the police.
