‘The Masked Singer’ Reveals Celebrity Behind Elephant
Published on February 20, 2020.Wednesday night’s episode of The Masked Singer introduced its Group B contestants – Kitty, Frog, Elephant, Mouse, Banana, and Taco – and also said goodbye to another celebrity.
The first few episodes of the costumed singing competition focused on its Group A contestants, and Robot, Llama and Miss Monster have been eliminated so far – which leaves Kangaroo, Turtle and White Tiger with a place in the final nine.
This week’s episode of The Masked Singer didn’t have a guest judge as they usually do, so the original judges – Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke and Nicole Scherzinger – once again reported duty to make their guesses.

The show began with the six new contestants giving out clues about who they potentially could be and showed off their vocal ranges. First, the Frog rapped and danced to “Can’t Touch This” by MC Hammer, followed by Elephant (“Friday I’m In Love” by the Cure), Kitty (“Dangerous Woman” by Ariana Grande), Taco (“Fly Me to the Moon” by Frank Sinatra), Mouse (“Get Here” by Oleta Adams), and Banana (“A Little Less Conversation” by Elvis Presley).
Group B as a whole was quite entertaining and talented, and Kitty’s sensual rendition and Banana’s funky performance earned high praise.
“She’s already a fan-favorite,” Thicke said, referring to Kitty.
However, with six contestants, one had to be sent home tonight. The audience and panelists voted for their favorite performances of the night and ultimately sent Elephant home.
The panelists’ guesses this week were all over the map, as emcee Nick Cannon pointed out. Guesses ranged from Lance Armstrong, Steve Aoki to Travis Pastrana, and Jeong took his chances and guessed the celebrity underneath Elephant’s mask was former presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke.
However, Jeong’s guess was completely off! The Elephant was unmasked and revealed to be … pro-skateboarder Tony Hawk. On stage, he said his clue “parading for white houses” referenced to him skating in the White House for Father’s Day. Also, the bird in the video package hinted at Hawk and his skateboard company Birdhouse.
“I appreciated your support,” the skateboarder, 51, said after being eliminated. “This was a totally new experience for me. I had one more song in me, but I didn’t want to go much further, so thank you for releasing me
