‘The Masked Singer’ Reveals Celebrity Behind Swan
Published on March 19, 2020.Last week, viewers saw the celebrity behind Bear rap “Baby Got Back,” and by comparison, everything on this week’s episode of The Masked Singer seemed relatively normal. Unfortunately, it was time to pluck out one contestant during Wednesday’s Group C playoffs, and once again viewers were shocked to find out who it was!
Frequent guest judge Joel McHale was back on as a panelist this week, joining his former Community costar Ken Jeong, as well as other judges Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke, and Jenny McCarthy, while Nick Cannon served once again as emcee.

First up was Astronaut who covered Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I’m Yours,” which Scherzinger declared the celebrity behind the mask was “by far [her] favorite.”
Then, for some strange reason, a dance-off occurred in the audience which led McHale twerking against Jeong – and Jeong won!
Next up was Angel (or the “Angel of Death” according to McHale), who performed Lady Gaga’s “Million Reasons,” followed by T-Rex’s rendition of Salt-N-Pepa’s “Push It.”
After that was the Swan, who performed Joan Jett & The Blackhearts’ “I Hate Myself for Loving You” and screamed that she loved Jeong at the end of her performance. Last up was Rhino, who sang Niall Horan’s “Nice to Meet Ya.”
The audience and then panelists voted for their favorite performances of the night, and unfortunately, the Swan was plucked out of the competition.
Some of the Swan’s clues included involving Twilight, Euphoria, and a big heart balloon, as well as the fact that she moved to the west to support her family as she grew up with no one. It turned out that underneath the feathery costume was actress Bella Thorne!
Thorne will join other eliminated Masked Singer contestants so far: Robot, Llama, Miss Monster, Elephant, Mouse, Taco, and Bear.
The Masked Singer airs every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
