‘The Masked Singer’ Reveals Celebrity Behind The BearPublished on March 12, 2020.
Ahead of this week’s episode, The Masked Singer gave a sneak peek at how Group C would kickoff and ended with a “bombshell reveal” with emcee Nick Cannon saying the unmasked celebrity would “totally take your breath away.” He added that between the six new competitors, they have one Guinness World Record, three New York Times best sellers, and 36 gold records.
So far this season, fans have met 12 contestants, and we got to hear a whole new crop of voices on Wednesday, March 11, night’s episode.

Cannon returned as host, and as always, Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke, and Jenny McCarthy served as panelists.
The Masked Singer‘s Group C contestants are Night Angel, Bear, Astronaut, Rhino, Swan, and T-Rex.
The first performance of the night was by Night Angel, who covered Bon Jovi’s “Shot Through the Heart.” McCarthy said the rendition was the “best performance all season,” setting the bar high for Night Angel.
Next up was Bear performing Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “Baby Got Back,” followed by Astronaut singing Laure Daigle’s “You Say.” After was T-Rex belting out Pink’s “So What,” then Rhino covered “Have a Little Faith in Me” by John Hiatt.
Nick called out Scherzinger who was seen swooning over Rhino, saying she developed a “seasonal crush” on the masked celebrity.
Last to perform was Swan, who performed Peggy Lee’s “Fever.”
After the performances, the panel and audience voted for their favorite performances of the night, and the contestant in Group C who would not be moving on was… Bear. The celebrity behind Bear was none other than Sarah Palin, the former governor of Alaska and one-time Republican nominee for vice president. The big clue pointing to her was the mama bear and hockey skates references in her clue package, as well as the image of the aces and kings cards that spelled out AK – her home state. The clue package also featured a calendar where “Live” was written on Saturday, a not to Tina Fey famously portraying her on Saturday Night Live.
The Masked Singer airs every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
