The Ice Cream, The Egg and now The Panda!

Season two of Fox’s hit series The Masked Singer continued on Wednesday, October 2 and another celebrity was revealed after the first episode revealed Olympian ice skater Johnny Weir and videogame streamer Ninja under the Egg and Ice Cream costumes.

In episode two, Black Widow was the first to take to the stage, followed by Leopard, Flamingo, and then Panda. In the first round, Black Widow won over Leopard and Flamingo beat Panda, which meant the Panda and Leopard went to the smack down rounds. Panda sang DJ Khaled’s “All I Do Is Win” and The Leopard belted out “Respect” by Aretha Franklin. Ultimately, The Leopard lived to sing another day and The Panda was sent packing.

After offering up several clues about her father, and following in his footsteps, Robin Thicke guessed it was Laila Ali. Jenny McCarthy agreed that she thought it was an athlete and guessed Ronda Rousey. Nicole Scherzinger also guessed an athlete with Venus Williams. After Panda’s second performance, Thicke then guessed comedian Loni Love, but he should have went with his original guess.

After the loss, Panda was revealed to be Laila Ali, former professional boxer and the daughter of iconic boxer Muhammad Ali.

“It was a lot of fun,” Ali said of being on the show. “I’ve always loved to sing, but I’ve always been shy.” She also joked that it is the first time she has ever lost “something like this,” adding, It was very humbling, but it’s been fun.”
