Years ago, Rachel Bilson and Chris Carmack were two of the biggest stars on one of the hottest teen shows, The O.C., and now the pair are working together again on another huge series: Nashville.
Late last week it was revealed that Bilson would be joining the cast of Nashville, and it seems the first thing she did was reunite with Carmack, posting a picture with her former and now current co-star. “Welcome to Nashville B****,” the actress captioned the Instagram photo of the pair posted on Monday, March 13. “This is how it’s done in Tennesse @realcarmack #propergreeting #nashvillecmt.”
The pair previously co-starred as Summer Roberts and Luke Ward until 2004 when Carmack left The O.C., three years before the show came to an end.
On March 9 the announcement was made that Bilson and actress Kaitlin Doubleday would be joining CMT’s hit show. “We welcome Rachel and Kaitlin into our incredibly talented ensemble. We fondly anticipate the second half of the season filled with surprising twists and turns that make Nashville so beloved by fans,” Marshal Herskovitz, executive producer and showrunner of Nashville said in a statement.
Following the announcement, Carmack was one of the first to share his excitement about the additions to the series in which he stars as Will Lexington. “Can’t wait to work with Rachel again… it’s been a while! Welcome to Nashville….darlin’!”
