‘This Is Us’ Season 4 Finale Title Sparks Theory About Kevin’s Fiancee

All stories must come to an end, and the Pearson family is no exception to this rule. There are still a few key mysteries that need to be answered, and the This Is Us season 4 finale is fast approaching. Unlike other shows, like Grey’s Anatomy and The Flash that tend to air over 20 episodes per season, This Is Us is only slated for 18 episodes per season.

The This Is Us season 4 finale is scheduled to debut on Tuesday, March 24, leaving only a few episodes between now and then. For fans of the show, the series has already been picked up for a fifth and sixth season last year, which guarantees the show’s fall return will be this year.

Leading up to the finale, fans are still wondering just who Kevin’s fiancee is that was mentioned in the near-future scene where Kate and Kevin meet with Rebecca at the cabin for their 40th birthday, minus Randall, and now they think they have a clue!

Recently, TVLine disclosed that the finale episode is titled “Strangers: Part Two” and will serve as a bookend to the show’s season 4 premiere, which was also titled “Strangers.” The bookend episode could mean that Cassidy will once again return to Kevin’s life, despite wanting to go their separate ways earlier because she first appeared in “Strangers.” However, the current theory is that Cassidy is seeking out Kevin because she is pregnant with his child.

At this time, there is no concrete evidence to prove this theory, and viewers have yet to find out the identity of Kevin’s pregnant fiancée. However, it is possible that Kevin’s mysterious fiancée could be Cassidy – especially if she makes an appearance in the finale. Last month, Justin Hartley promised fans would get answers regarding Kevin’s love life. “We’re almost there. We’re a couple of weeks away,” Hartley told reporters at the SCAD aTVFest on Saturday, February 29. “You’ll find out!”

This Is Us season 4 finale airs on March 24 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
