12. Goodbye Arturo?
Actor Jason Canela (Arturo Rosales) recently hopped on Twitter, announcing his departure from the Y&R. With the character recently revealing his affair with Mia to fiancé Abby, there might not be much more of a story for Rosales, and there is a very good chance he could wrap up his Y&R run by month’s end.
11. … And Mia Too?
Y&R spoilers suggest that Mia and Arturo might leave the little town together. After all, Rey is moving on with Sharon, and Abby will undeniably drop Arturo like a bad habit. While Arturo and Mia aren’t on the best terms right now, their affair bombshell will have everyone in Genoa City turning against them. They may decide to stop denying their chemistry and leave as a twosome.
10. Ashley’s Bomb
Y&R fans are gearing up for the return of Ashley Abbott this week, as spoilers indicate that she’ll have a huge surprise in store for Jabot. It seems that Kerry may be allied with Ash, but don’t get too comfortable with this character. Abbott will wrap up this storyline with a quick explanation on April 1. She’ll be out of Genoa City once again before you know it.
9. Kerry’s Exit?
Most know by now that actress Alice Hunter, who plays Kerry Johnson on the show, has announced her exit from the Y&R as well. As the show’s spoilers tease that Kerry is aligned with Ashley and her bomb-dropping secret, will Kerry be gone as of early April too? She could very well leave Genoa City with Abbott.
8. Nikki Turns To Paul
Who else has missed Paul Williams? Clearly Nikki has! With his explosive return this week, fans once again get to enjoy the talented Doug Davidson on screen, and many will be happy to see Nikki reach out to her old friend Paul in April, sharing all her recent hardships with him. He is sure to lend an ear and some support; he’s always had such a soft spot for Nikki. It’ll be nice to see these two together again in April.
7. Sparks Between Sharon and Rey
Y&R spoilers tease some romantic sparks set to hit between Rey and Sharon in April. Now that Mia is out of the way, and prison is no longer a threat to Sharon, expect these two to come together in a big way. They’ve had some huge obstacles, and now they finally get to enjoy some romance together.
6. Vicky Struggling
Y&R spoilers suggest that Victoria will struggle come April. After all, she almost killed her ex, the father of her eldest son, and it ended up that he had a terrible medical condition that caused him to be such a jerk. She’ll have a long road ahead, but teasers indicate she will also have some support along the way.
5. Billy Concerned
With the aftermath that has hit from the J.T. murder coverup, Y&R spoilers hint that Billy will worry about Victoria in early April. He’ll see how hard she is struggling with all that happened over the J.T. incident, and he’ll want to be there for her any way that he can.
4. New Love Interest For Ana?
Known for his roles in Flashpoint, Insomnia, and Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy, primetime actor Mark Taylor is set to hit the Y&R, seemingly linked somehow to Ana Hamilton. Could he be a new love interest or an ex from her past? Based on social media posts, he should be heading to the show sometime in the coming weeks.
3. Saying Goodbye
As the soap opera world and Y&R fans continue to mourn the loss of actor Kristoff St. John, who played Neil Winters on the show, the daytime drama is set to launch a storyline that will pay tribute to the character and actor. Genoa City residents will be informed of Neil’s death on Tuesday, April 23, and some characters will return to take part in a storyline focused on saying goodbye to Neil Winters.
2. Big Returns
In fact, scheduled to make a comeback for this important storyline include Neil’s brother Malcolm (with actor Shemar Moore reprising the role), and Winters’ daughter Lily (actress Christel Khalil). Both will be seen on the show Thursday, April 25 and Friday, April 26 as pivotal parts of this arc, where the show and fans say goodbye to a big part of Genoa City.
1. Tribute Show
Aside from the storyline above within the daytime drama, the Y&R will be airing a tribute show on Monday, April 29. Actress Victoria Rowell (ex-Drucilla Winters) and Mishael Morgan (ex-Hilary Hamilton) will take part in the episode, along with Christel, Shemar, and other Y&R cast members, as they share beautiful memories and stories of Kristoff St. John. It is being said that the show will resemble that of the one done for the late Jeanne Cooper some years ago. It’s one fans won’t want to miss.
