Young And The Restless Plotline Predictions For The Next Two Weeks (October 12 – 23, 2020)

Calling all Young and the Restless (Y&R) fans! Wonder what’s on tap for the next couple of weeks? Will Nate and Elena come clean? What’s Kyle’s secret all about? Are Lauren and Jack truly “just friends”? It’s hard not to speculate around “what will happen next.” As such, below are some Y&R plotline predictions for October 12 to October 23, 2020.

12. Spoiler Alert: Tissues Required

Y&R spoilers have indicated that Dina will pass away this week, and family and friends will gather to say goodbye to one of Genoa City’s most dynamic characters. Most fans will need a tissue box nearby. With speeches, video clips, and scenes from the Abbott children, it’ll be hard not to shed a tear or two. #ImNotCryingYoureCrying

11. Lauren and Jack

Lauren and Jack are exes, but they’ve also been friends and business associates for years now. Y&R spoilers the for the week of October 19th indicate that Lauren will play a key role in helping Abbott with something, while also uniting the entire family together. They’ve been spending a lot of time with one another lately, so is there something more going on here?

10. Secrets Remain Hidden

While Y&R spoilers reveal that both Elena and Nate will struggle with their one-nighter over the next couple of weeks, there’s no way either of them is coming clean. Devon will notice something’s up soon and try to address it; however, these two will work overtime to cover their dirty little deed up. Nate may break up with Amanda because they aren’t overly serious, but Elena will stay with Devon and continue to lie to him while acting weird the entire way.

9. Nate Insists

It’ll be Nate’s idea to hide things, while Elena will want to come clean. The two will argue over the next couple of weeks about this. Nate will start to try and convince Elena that they should be together. Either way, there’s a good chance that these two may also get caught up in another romp at the end of the following week.

8. Chelsea Plays Games

Y&R spoilers hint that Chelsea will ask Billy if she can spend more time with Johnny this week. It’ll be a hard no for Billy (and Vicky), but does Lawson want to bond with her bio son, or is she up to something else? It’s obvious she’s playing games! After all, she decided to give Johnny to Vic and Billy years ago. She’s trying to intimidate Billy into cowering down on the Adam article series and using Johnny as a pawn.

7. Daniel Rolls Into Town

Y&R spoilers state that Gloria is expected to return to Genoa City soon, and a teaser around Kevin getting a “blast from the past” next week could be about her comeback. But what if it also means fans get an unexpected visit from Fisher’s BFF Daniel Romalotti? He may want to meet the newest edition to the family!

6. Paul’s Nabs Chance (& Adam)

Y&R spoilers suggest Paul Williams will launch an investigation in Las Vegas this week, so he’s probably trying to come to the bottom of things when it comes to Chance. Additional teasers imply that Chance will end up the hot seat the following week, so Paul may gather enough information to nab both Chance and Adam.

5. Keeps It Under Wraps

Paul is also a stand-up guy. He knows Chance is a stand-up guy. If Chancellor tells him the truth, could Paul decide to keep what he’s found under wraps? Is there a loophole that can be found in all of this where Chance could keep his job at GCPD, despite the information that has come forward? This is the land of soaps, there’s always a way around things!

4. Sharon Pops The Question

Across town, the good news will be that Sharon will get the results of her latest surgery this week and the cancer will be gone! The even better news is that this will be a cause to celebrate with a wedding! Rey is set to get an unexpected proposal this week, so could Sharon pop the question?

3. Faith Continues To Struggle

Faith will continue to get bullied by school mates in the coming weeks. The mean online messages will cause the young girl to spiral. Her mom’s finally cancer-free and getting married, the last thing Faith will want to do is bring this to her attention. She won’t want to bring the mood down now that her mom is “happy” and okay.

2. Kyle’s Secret

Kyle has a major secret he’s hiding this week, and Y&R spoilers also hint that Summer will try and lay low this week. Could Summer be expecting? This is a very good reason to keep a low profile, and if she runs into either of her parents, they are sure to know something is up.

1. Lola Has A Secret, Too

What if Lola ended up expecting, too? Maybe she found out a while ago and has been keeping it under wraps. Sure, she’d be a few more weeks along than Summer, but this is Genoa City, and any kind of explanation could be rewritten to have them somewhat close together in expectancy dates. The real plot twist could be that Summer miscarries and doesn’t tell Kyle about it.
