On the cusp of the last month of the year, and Genoa City is sure to explode with drama! From weddings to character exits and returns, plus family celebrations, the Young and the Restless (Y&R) will celebrate the holidays, romance, drama, and so much more! Learn what is about to happen on the soap in the next four weeks by checking out the Y&R spoilers for December 2020.

12. Theo’s Exit

While Theo’s wrapped up in a lawsuit right now for Dina’s estate, he might be heading out of Genoa City by the time the holidays hit. Actor Tyler Johnson, who plays Vanderway, announced on Twitter in early November that he was leaving the show. An exit storyline could occur whether he wins the lawsuit or not. If he wins, he takes his money and runs; if loses, he sneaks out of town.

11. Brittany Hodges Returns This Month

According to Y&R spoilers, actress Lauren Woodland is set to reprise her Brittany Hodges role this month, with scenes on the show taking place on December 8th and the 14th. Brittany will be helping Theo with his lawsuit against the Abbott clan, so it’ll be interesting to see if he wins his case, or loses.

10. The Chabby Wedding

The Chabby wedding will take place early on in the month, with the happy couple saying, “I do” on December 1st. This event will be spotlighted hand-in-hand with the Y&R’s 12,000th episode celebration, as classic clips will be highlighted during the nuptials. Fans should expect to see current characters “reminisce” about super couples of the past.

9. Chabby’s Honeymoon

Y&R spoilers also hint that Chabby’s honeymoon could go very wrong the first week of December. Rounding out teasers around the Chabby wedding, the happy couple will also receive a heartfelt gift from the groom’s mom, Nina. Could Nina spring for the honeymoon? Maybe she passes on something special from Chance’s dad, Philip, who will seemingly be absent from the big event.

8. Shey’s Turn

With Sharon and Rey’s wedding scheduled for New Year’s Eve, Y&R fans may get to enjoy two weddings this month. The couple is sure to be busy planning their big day unless the investigation Rey is on keeps the groom (and bride) preoccupied. Here’s hoping that the Shey wedding goes off without a hitch.

7. Arturo Returns?

Actor Jason Canela (Arturo Rosales) posted a photo of himself standing in front of CBS Studios on his Instagram Stories recently. The Y&R films at that location, so could Jason be teasing a return to the Y&R? The photo has since been deleted, so it’s hard to say. Plus, the studio does film a ton of other shows there, so perhaps Canela is jumping into a non-Y&R project.

6. Bill’s Rollercoaster Month

Billy will be all over the place in early December. Not only will Sally Spectra be interested in chatting with him, but evidence will also continue to mount against him when it comes to the Adam/Chance shooting. Then, his relationship with Lily will also take a nice turn. Y&R spoilers hint that fans should expect some steamy scenes between these two soon.

5. Jill’s Got A Plan

On another note, Y&R spoilers suggest that Jill will have a dire plan up her sleeve in December. Added teasers imply that she’ll disclose her idea to someone soon. What is this plan about, and could it involve Billy and the “shooting” case? She may be tired of Victor’s antics when it comes to Adam, and how Billy’s gotten wrapped up in all of this.

4. Victor and Adam

Speaking of the Moustache, Victor will continue to worry about Adam this month. Rightfully so. He’s had his son committed and Adam’s refusal to participate in the therapies offered is concerning. So, what will Victor do to help place his mind at ease? Will he pressure the GCPD to ramp up their investigation into the shooting?

3. Victor Defends Himself

Y&R December spoilers imply Victor will have to “defend” himself at some point this month. Is it a verbal or physical defense? Could Newman have to deal with an altercation while visiting Adam? Could Adam try to hurt his father? The teaser is very cryptic, so this could go either way.

2. Sally Stays Focused

The rivalry between Sally and Summer will ramp up in December and is sure to heat up over the holiday season. Sally will be looking to push Summer’s buttons; however, Spectra should watch her step. As the days go by, added teasers also indicate that Jack will warn Lauren about Sally. She may not be able to fool everyone, and it seems as if Abbott could have her number.

Nina returned to town in November, and it seems as if she’ll stick around for a little bit during December. According to Y&R spoilers, she and Christine will get to hang out a little this month, catching up on what’s new and reflecting on past times together. Lastly, Y&R December teasers state that Elena could have a change of heart.
