As The Young and the Restless (Y&R) fans bid adieu to February, it’s time to also gear up for March! What’s set to unfold in Genoa City over the next month? A new character is on her way, while a new romance could emerge. Plus, things will heat up between Victor and Ashland. 12. A Mysterious Young Professional…

Some interesting news for Y&R fans! Actress Kelsey Wang will join the cast playing a “mysterious young professional” named Allie, who enters Genoa City in March. Some viewers may recognize Wang from her role as Daisy Kwan in General Hospital. Sounds like Kelsey will jump into a major storyline from the moment she hits daytime screens.

11. New Romance On The Horizon?

Y&R spoilers also add that Wang’s character will catch the eye of an eligible bachelor when she arrives. There are a couple of men in town who could use a little romance; however, considering her age, many are speculating that Allie could become Noah Newman’s new love interest. Will Noah finally be able to shake his feelings for Tessa, with Allie in the picture?

10. A Very Abbott Connection

At the moment, Jack Abbott is getting some seriously odd texts from LA, which Phyllis was able to connect to Luan. There’s been much speculation across Y&R fan boards that Allie could be connected to Keemo. Is there a chance she may be Jack Abbott’s granddaughter?

9. Jack Confides

Y&R spoilers for early March note that Jack will confide in Traci about something. Sounds like he’ll fill her in on the “next steps” around these odd texts he’s getting. Jack will likely take Phyllis along for the ride, but he’ll dig deeper into who’s behind the messages to him and why.

8. Jack’s Guilt

Jack may also confide in Traci about losing touch with Keemo over the years. Perhaps he’ll share regret that they fell into a major argument and never made amends. This could explain how he could have a granddaughter and not even know about it. There’s a very good chance that Allie is related to Jack.

7. Things Heat Up Between Victor And Ashland

Y&R spoilers for March hint that things will heat up between Victor and Ashland. In fact, added teasers note that the Moustache will give the Locke-Ness Monster an ultimatum. In light of the information Newman has on Locke, could he demand that Ashland sign everything over to Victoria/the Newman family? He may just ask him to leave town, and his stake in Newman-Locke, behind.

6. Ashland Won’t Back Down

Y&R spoilers for March suggest that despite being backed into a corner, Ashland won’t back down to Victor’s demands. Added teasers imply that Locke may have something up his sleeve when approached by the Moustache, so fans shouldn’t count him out of this “game” completely! How will Ashland be able to squirm his way out of this one?

5. Nikki Guides Victoria

Speaking of, Y&R spoilers for March reveal that Nikki will try to help guide Vicky in the right direction. The truth about Ashland’s condition is sure to come out by the end of February. This will likely leave Vic confused, upset and unsure of what to do — especially if Ashland tries to sway her judgement. Will she take her frustrations out on her father or her hubby? Nikki will likely remind her that this latest secret was an outright betrayal and manipulation for business reasons. What will Vicky’s next steps be?

4. Lauren Worries

Meanwhile, Y&R spoilers for March suggest that Lauren will worry about Michael. Could Victor spill the beans to Ashland before Baldwin gets home from Peru? Perhaps it’s something as simple as Lauren believing that Michael is (once again) getting too involved with the Newman family drama. Regardless, she’ll have some concerns about her hubby early next month.

3. Summer’s Around The Corner!

It’s true: Y&R is looking to replace actress Hunter King and recast the role of Summer Newman. Reports indicate that the show is set to offer a three-year contract to the actress who takes on the part. The show is seeking someone who can play a “fun”, “female professional” in her late 20s who’s linked to a “rich and powerful” family. Yup! Sounds like Summer! This is likely why fans have heard so much about Summer lately and will likely see more video chats from her in March. This will help keep her in storylines until a full-time replacement is found.

2. What About Kyle?

While fans still see Summer now and again on the show, either by special visits or video chats, Summer may soon be calling Genoa City her home again! With that said, there’s no news yet on whether Kyle would be returning, too. He returned for the Vic-Ash wedding in the fall of 2021 but hasn’t been seen since. Here’s hoping that if Summer returns, the show brings back Kyle (and little Harrison, too).

1. “Charon” Possibilities?

Actor Conner Floyd (Chance) recently did an interview with SoapCentral.com. With Chance finally agreeing to do therapy, there has been a buzz among fans that he may do some sessions with Sharon. This could also set up a storyline that pushes these two characters a little closer. “Wow, I don’t know,” Floyd said when asked about the possibility, while remaining tight-lipped. “It’s a soap opera, so we shall see!” Was he being facetious or is this something fans could see unfold in March?
