12. This Week’s Preview

Y&R’s preview video for the week of August 8th centers around Phyllis and Diane. The first scene shows Jenkins gloating about how wonderful her “new life” in Genoa City is, as Red tries her best to bite her tongue. As scenes shift, Phyllis tells Nikki that she’s bound and determined to get Diane out of town, while Mrs. Newman states that Jenkins needs to go. The preview ends with Billy issuing a warning to Red about “war and casualties” as a confident Phyllis feels there’s no way she can lose. Will Ms. Summers succeed this time around?

11. Phyllis Protects

Meanwhile, Y&R spoilers for the week of August 8th indicate that Phyllis will try to protect her interests. Is this about business, or Jack? Speaking of Mr. Abbott, Traci will question Jack’s feelings for Diane, leaving her brother wondering if he’s over his ex after all. Looking onward to the week of August 15th, Nikki will continue to try and dig up dirt on Diane, while Jenkins makes a vow to Jack.

10. Victor Defends

Y&R spoilers for this week hint that Victor will once again do all he can to defend his family. Over the coming days, the Moustache and Chance will have a confrontation as the cop tries to play games with his father-in-law. This might not end well for Chancellor, as added teasers suggest that Victor will call his bluff. What’ll happen next?

As the days go by this week, Y&R spoilers imply that Victor will have a chat with his family, hoping they’ll present a united front. Will this “family meeting” include Abby and Adam this time around? In other news, Victoria will decide to place some pressure on her brother-in-law cop. Will he be intimated by the move?

Sounds like things will continue to heat up, as Y&R spoilers for the week of August 15th note that Victor will “challenge” Chance. Will he issue a warning to his son-in-law, or will the Moustache set up barriers as the cop tries to investigate Ashland Locke’s passing? How will Abby feel about all this friction?

Not only will Nikki be busy with bringing Diane down, but it seems as if she’ll also meddle in the Chance/Victor storyline. Across town, Y&R spoilers hint that a new and unexpected opportunity will be presented to Adam. Could this mean that Mr. Newman will open up a door leading to the offices at Jabot? Over at Chancellor-Winters, Y&R spoilers for this week suggest that Elena will give Devon a warning. Could this have to do with her belief that Imani is stirring the pot between him and Nate? Or, is she threatening Hamilton to back off Hastings at work? Looking onward to the week of August 15th, Lily will need to play the role of peacemaker.

Speaking of Elena, she won’t only have a chat with Devon, but Nate, as well. However, it sounds like the two conversations will be vastly different. Y&R spoilers imply that “Shick” will continue to get closer, as Sharon and Nick “commiserate” about their past. Could this center around Victor’s need to constantly meddle in things? Nick is dealing with that a lot lately. While they may console each other, will they also look back on some memories with fondness?

2. Chelsea Places Billy In An Uncomfortable Situation
