9. All About The Winters Fam
Take a trip down memory lane to re-live some interesting, heartwarming, explosive, and dramatic moments around one of the most loved families in Genoa City! Yes, May 18th to 22nd is dedicated to Neil Winters and his brood, and the theme next week is simply entitled “The Winters Family Week.”
8. Who Will Be Featured?
Y&R promises a close-up look at the Winters clan, showcasing epis that feature the late and great actor Kristoff St. John (Neil), as well as Shemar Moore (his brother Malcolm), actress Victoria Rowell (Drucilla), Byron James (their adoptive son Devon), Christel Khalil (daughter Lily), as well as Tonya Lee Williams (playing sister-in-law Olivia).
7. Over The Years
“The Winters Family Week” will be a blast from the past, offering episodes that date back to the early 1990s, and well into the mid-2000s. Y&R fans will get to re-live some incredible moments, including when Neil and Dru first met, Malcolm’s debut, plus some tender times between Neil and his children Lily and Devon.
6. When Neil Meets Dru
An incredible tribute to both Kristoff St. John, as well as his beloved Y&R character, the episode spotlighted for Monday features Neil Winters’ very first day in Genoa City! The show was first broadcasted on February 13, 1991. Winters crosses paths with none other than Dru, and it was clearly love at first sight! In other storylines from the classic episode, Kay gets some disturbing news in regard to Brock, plus Nate and Olivia don’t see eye-to-eye.
5. Malcolm’s Genoa City Debut
Enjoy watching actor Shemar Moore’s first-ever appearance on the Y&R via this classic episode from May 6, 1994! Malcolm makes his Genoa City debut, while Cricket (remember when Christine was called that?) has to deal with a challenging day in court. Meanwhile, the Moustache takes a chance and tries to help Hope out.
4. Neil to the Rescue!
Featuring an episode originally aired on February 9, 2005, Y&R fans get to see Neil and the gang help rescue Devon! In other storylines for the show, Bobby Marsino will get a confession out of Nikki, while Kevin tries to turn over a new leaf (spoiler alert: he succeeds in this…over time).
3. Neil Searches for Lily
Remember when Lily and Daniel took off to California after the entire drunk driving accident that resulted in Cassie’s passing? Well, time to take a walk down memory lane! The show, which ran originally on June 29, 2005, features a worried dad in Neil searching for Lily, while she’s with Daniel (as well as Nick and Phyllis) in Cali!
2. Dru Stands Her Ground
That’s not all! While Neil is looking for Lily, back home, Dru is standing her ground with Malcolm! Other characters featured on the May 21st Y&R classic episode include Michael Baldwin, who will finally connect the dots around Ashley’s link to Tom Fisher. Remember when those two were an “item” (well, kind of, sort of)?
1. Devon’s Adoption
Capping off “The Winters Family Week,” the December 7, 2006 episode spotlights how Devon’s adoption was finalized! Should offer plenty of those fuzzy feels we all could use right now. In other storylines, Jill will look for answers from her past (someone should tell her it’ll take a long time before she figures out the entire truth), plus Ash and Jack scheme to keep Gloria in her place.
