Days Of Our Lives: Plotline Predictions For January 2020

We are in a brand-new year, brand-new decade, and it’s only natural for fans of Days of Our Lives (DOOL) to speculate on what will happen to all their favorite characters and couples this month! Will Stefano get caught? Will everyone finally find out that “Hope” is really Princess Gina? Will Lani and Kristen get back all they lost last year? Hard to say, but fun to wonder about! Below are some DOOL plot predictions for January 2020.

12. What Really Happened To Adrienne

DOOL spoilers suggest that fans will learn soon that Adrienne was in a car accident and all her organs were donated. With Will in jail because of Adrienne’s passing, it may be revealed that Horton was under the influence while driving a vehicle, thus causing her untimely passing. This doesn’t sound like something Will would do, so what if a drug was slipped in his drink before he drove? What if Stefano was behind all of this, or even Kate? She seems rather close to the entire situation, and this may be the reason why she wants Will to fight harder for Sonny.

11. Kayla Infatuated With “Steve”

In the coming days and weeks, Kayla will demand answers from “Steve” about his unexpected return. Days spoilers indicate that she’ll feel a push towards him, but Stefano will not reciprocate any “feelings” Kayla may have. She may become so obsessed with trying to gain Steve’s affections that she leaves Justin behind to pursue “Steve”, and the love they once shared.

10. Stefano Makes His Move On Marlena

January DOOL spoilers tease that Stefano and Gina will come up with a plan to split up Jarlena so they can have John and Marlena to themselves. Steve was once pretty good friends with Marlena, so perhaps Stefano uses this friendship to his advantage when it comes to establishing a bond with Doc this month.

9. Gina Tricks John

“Hope” and John are friends, and Gina has been able to manipulate Black since her return to Salem; using this friendship to get closer to him. With that said, most of her attempts at truly breaking up Jarlena have failed. What if she has an opportunity to spend some alone time with him in January, and she slips something in his drink. She could also try and hypnotize him, or use brainwashing techniques to win his affections. In the end, he may dump Marlena (leaving a door open for Stefano), and run to “Hope”.

8. Chad Finally Sees Stefano

DOOL spoilers state that the meeting between Chad and Stefano will finally go down in January 2020. When they meet, it will be revealed to Chad that Stefano looks like Steve Johnson. If this is the case, Stefano may issue out an ultimatum to his son: keep this secret and gain power to DiMera Enterprises, or tell the world and throw away his corporate goals. If Chad is on board, this would mean he’d have to hide “Steve’s” identity from Abigail, which isn’t a good thing for the Chabby relationship.

7. Nicole and Brady

While they are just friends now, January DOOL spoilers relay that Nicole will make up a lie to Kristen, telling her that she and Brady are an item. Interestingly enough, Brady will go along with this plan once he finds out what is going on. These two were together once, and parading around as a couple again may cause feelings to resurface.

6. Kristen Crosses The Line

While Kristen has done all that she can to reform herself, she’s got a soft spot in her heart for Brady, and finding out that Nicole has snagged him once again could have her going over the edge again. Could she do something to cross a line? Kidnap Holly? Kidnap Nicole? Throw Nicole over a cliff and leave her there? The possibilities are endless.

5. J.J and Lani

Lani’s heart belongs to Eli; however, J.J. and Lani will bond this January. In fact, Days spoilers state that she will confide in him around all that Gabi has done, and he’ll even offer to help her get her life back in order. These two exes have a past together, and they were once very much in love. Could getting back at Gabi help to reunite these former love birds?

4. Gabi Accidentally Causes Issues With Julie

DOOL spoilers tease that if Gabi catches wind of what Lani has told J.J., all bets between them could be off, meaning, Julie’s health (and heart) might be at risk. She may find out what Lani has done, and try to hurt Julie, or with Julie’s heart linked to Gabi’s phone, something could unravel, accidentally. What Ari grabs her phone and thinks she playing a video game?

3. Gabi Expecting

DOOL spoilers suggest that Eli will propose to Gabi this month. While the two are very much in love, or at least they think they are, what if something happens to push him into a marriage? What if Gabi finds out she’s expecting this month? With her health issues in the past, this would be a true miracle in the making, and would only continue to push Eli closer to Gabi, even if he found out the truth about what she’s been up to.

2. Victor Saves Ben

Ben will be in a dire circumstance in January, worried that the appeal on his case might not go through. Seems as if he could face some capital punishment if things don’t go his way. In typical DOOL fashion, he could be sitting in a room, ready to face the worst (after his appeal is denied), only to have Victor and Ciara come in for the save (and the real truth behind Jordan’s demise), at the umpteenth hour!

1.Will Is Released Too

With Eve, Hattie, and Ben released, how long before Will gets paroled from his sentence? If he is behind Adrienne’s passing (via a car accident), he may get an early release … just in time for him to return to Salem and watch Evan and Sonny canoodling all over town.
