Days Of Our Lives: Plotline Predictions For May 2020

It’s natural for Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans (actually, any soap opera fans) to try and speculate “what will happen next” within storylines. Will Sarah and Mickey get found? Will Kristen ever be reunited with her daughter? What’s the real story behind this new “Jake” character? On the cusp of a brand-new month, and May Sweeps no less, below are some DOOL plotline predictions for May 2020.

12. The Truth Comes Out

It’s rather easy to predict that Kristen and Brady were on borrowed time with their coverup around Victor’s stabbing. Kiriakis was bound to wake up and tell police the truth around what happened, which Days spoilers are now teasing on what’s to come in early May. Victor will come to, and let everyone know it was Kristen who stabbed him, not Brady.

11. Kristen and Lani Work Together

With that said, a major plot twist might be on the horizon. While Kristen will be taken into custody, with Lani on the force, she may have someone on her side. DOOL spoilers are teasing a slew of things that could happen. Seems as if Kristen will tell Lani the reason behind why she stabbed Victor, and teasers also hint that Lani will help her to locate Sarah.

10. Kristen Finds Sarah

DOOL spoilers indicate that Lani will first help to locate Sarah’s whereabouts, and then assist with Kristen’s escape. Could Kristen head off on a mission to find Sarah in Paris? Teasers seem to imply that Horton’s plan will hit a snag soon. Is that because she runs into DiMera?

9. Exes Get A Little Closer

Actor Kyle Lowder is set to return to the land of DOOL on May 1stto reprise his Rex Brady role. It also seems that when he runs into Sarah and Mickey, Horton will convince him to keep her whereabouts under wrap. Fans will also see these two bond, as she shares all she has been through as of late. Could they reignite a lost connection too?

8. Cracks In Elani

Back to Lani and her role in helping Kristen escape. DOOL spoilers relay that not only will boyfriend Eli be suspicious of her behavior leading up to this all, but she’ll have to answer to him once all is said and done. This couple has been through so much as of late, could this cause some cracks in their relationship, or will Eli understand Lani’s motives?

7. Ben’s Dire Situation

According to Days spoilers, Ben will be in a dire situation in early May, one that leaves him quite injured. With that said, it seems as if Ciara will be tending to his wounds, so he won’t need to be hospitalized. What could happen to Ben where he is hurt, but not in the hospital? Could he get beat up by someone?

6. Orpheus Steals David

DOOL spoilers for May reveal that Orpheus will steal David, and John will be kidnapped as well. Could Ben be watching his nephew for Rafe, get attacked by Orpheus where Weston is so down and out that David is stolen after everything goes down? Could Evan help Orpheus with the attack and kidnapping?

5. Zoey Loses Hope

What would cause Orpheus to think it is a good idea to steal David? Especially when it seems like (as of now) all the cards are stacked in his favor? What if Zoey loses all hope of gaining custody of the little boy? Another idea is that Orpheus doesn’t necessarily want Zoey to have custody of David, and would rather take matters into his own hands.

4. Hope & Steve

DOOL spoilers state when John goes missing, Marlena will reach out to Steve and Hope for help. Hope and John are already bonding like crazy over their mutual ordeals at the hands of Stefano and Dr. Rolf. Being thrown into a mission like finding John may further accelerate a transition from “friends” to “lovers.”

3. Gabi and Jake

The question marks around who Jake is, and why he looks so much like Stefan, still remain. DOOL spoilers hint that Gabi will kiss him at some point in May. Could she feel genuinely drawn to him, or is it her way of trying to see if Jake is Stefan? A kiss might be able to determine this in her mind, and DOOL spoilers seem to suggest that in the coming weeks, she’ll be convinced that he is her husband.

2. Another Secret Spilled

Days teasers for May imply that more secrets will unfold from Mother’s Day 2020, things that fans have no clue about. With that said, could this mean that Mackenzie is alive? Could something have happened where the infant was actually able to survive what happened, without Xander or Victor knowing about it?

1. Eric and Nicole

Days spoilers suggest that Eric and Nicole might get engaged at some point over the next month; however, they won’t end up actually getting hitched. Sarah and Eric continue to struggle with losing their child, and at some point over the next couple of weeks, Sarah might very well get found and return home. If they find out there is a possibility that their child is alive, could this bring them closer together, pushing Nicole out of Eric’s orbit for good?
