Days Of Our Lives Plotline Predictions For The Next Two Weeks (July 6 – July 17, 2020)

As the summer temperatures continue to rise in the land of Salem over the next couple of weeks, so will the drama! Will Justin and Kayla say their “I dos?” How will Steve react? What will Rafe’s decision be when it comes to Allie’s baby? Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans love to do nothing more than to speculate on “what will happen next” in the little town, so below are some plotline predictions for July 6 to July 17, 2020.

12. Kayla and Justin’s Wedding

It doesn’t seem likely that Kayla and Justin will say their “I do’s” this week. While the two will prepare for the day, it could be that Justin will have reservations around whether or not Kayla is really over Steve, and he could stop the wedding before it even starts.

11. The “Steve” Factor

According to DOOL spoilers, Steve will announce that he’s leaving town to Marlena and John. He may even let Hope know what he’s up to, and it seems that this news will somehow filter to Kayla and Justin at some point. Kayla will also find it hard to shake thoughts around her ex as she prepares for her wedding day. Added teasers imply that Justin will confess something to Kayla before or during the ceremony about something, and she’ll have a tough choice to make. Could she accidentally slip Steve’s name in while saying their vows? Could Justin pick up on this and decide to call her on any lingering feelings, confessing that he’s still insecure about her past relationship?

10. Major Confession

Then there is the idea that Justin could relay that he’s still in love with Adrienne, and simply can’t move on. DOOL spoilers state that he’ll reveal something big to Kayla. He may tell her he knows she’s still in love with Steve, or he may tell her he can’t move on (just yet) from Adrienne, leaving Kayla to make a big decision — stay with Justin until he can move on from the passing of his first wife, or just walk away.

9. Kayla’s Choice

Regardless of what exactly stops Kayla and Justin from getting married, it seems as if they will part ways. DOOL spoilers for the week of July 13th tease that Kayla and Steve will reconnect while out of town, so it seems the steps toward a super couple reunion will be in the making in the coming days. Great news for fans of Kayla and Steve, not-so-great news for any fans out there of Jayla.

8. New Romance Already For Justin?

Don’t feel too bad for Justin, he may already have a new (potential) romance on the horizon. DOOL spoilers reveal that actress Judi Evans will return the week of July 6th! But, before fans get too excited about an Adrienne return, seems as if she’ll reprise her Bonnie Lockhart role this time around. Could fans see some sparks develop between Justin and Bonnie?

7. Xander and Sarah Reunite

Across town, there is a particularly good chance that Xander and Sarah reunite within the next couple of weeks. Xander still has a major thing for Sarah, and DOOL spoilers suggest he’ll turn to Jack and have a chat. Can Jack help him win back Sarah’s heart? Deveraux is quite the charmer!

6. Victor Takes The Blame

Back at the Kiriakis mansion, Victor will defend Xander to Sarah, so there’s a good chance he may take the fall for the baby swap incident. Victor is trying to undo all the devastation he’s caused his family over the months, and he may tell Sarah to hold a grudge against him and not Xan.

5. Sami’s Back

Bonnie Lockhart might not be the only Salemite headed back to the little town, as DOOL spoilers for the week of July 13th imply that Sami Brady could also be returning. The teaser states that she’ll order Rafe to decline Allie’s offer of adoption, so Sami could very well do this via a phone conversation or email. With that said, there’s also an exceptionally good reason she could storm back to Salem.

4. Eric and Nicole Wedding

DOOL spoilers suggest that the July wedding to take place the week of the 13th is Eric and Nicole’s. They’ll be basking in wedded bliss as husband and wife for the latter part of that week, so there will be no disruption in their wedding at all. Sami could head to town to be a part of the festivities, only to find out her daughter is expecting (and planning on giving the baby to Rafe).

3. Secret Spills

Although, Sami could find out about Allie’s baby from other sources as well, and use Eric and Nicole’s wedding as an excuse to return to Salem (only to confront both Rafe and Allie). In fact, Allie’s “secret” pregnancy isn’t really so secret anymore as most of the family knows, and many others will find out about it the week of July 13th. DOOL spoilers hint that Jarlena is set to the learn the news about their granddaughter (and impending great-grandchild) the following week, so Marlena could very well spill the beans to Sami, causing a flurry of drama to follow.

2. Kate Plays A Huge Role

Days spoilers reveal that Kate may play a huge role in getting “Jake” to realize he’s “Stefan.” Viv will turn to Kate this week and ask for some assistance with something, and Days teasers for the following week imply that Kate gets some “serum” from Dr. Rolf. The week of July 13th will see Gabi and Jake anxiously wait for the injection to kick in. It probably won’t take effect right away, so fans will have to stay tuned until the week of July 20th for “Stefan” (or his twin?) to come to the surface.

1. Does Claire Have Another Mental Health Concern?

That smirk on Claire’s face this week (while painting her nails) seemed to hint that she was up to no good. Could Claire suffer from a multiple personality disorder, or is she not reformed and bad to the bone? At this point it is clear that she is trying to ruin Ciara and Ben’s wedding, but is she really (consciously) doing this, or is there another underlying mental health issue she is suffering from?
