It’s the last “official” month of summer in Salem, so what should Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans expect to see unfold during the next four weeks? Alexander may stir up some trouble, while the DiMera family is in chaos. Plus, Xander and Sarah will team up to investigate Abigail’s passing. 12. Alexander’s A Chip Off The Old Block

Days fans recently got introduced to a returning Alexander Kiriakis, played by actor Robert Scott Wilson (ex-Ben Weston). He seems cocky enough, but what is he really up to? Spoilers for August hint that a “returning” Kiriakis will cause some chaos in the mansion and be much more opportunistic than his relatives. Will Alexander become Victor’s new fave?

11. DiMera Family In Shambles

DOOL spoilers imply that the DiMeras will suffer another tragedy, and it seems as if Jake might meet his demise in the days ahead. With that said, the family will be in deep mourning in early August, as they say “goodbye” to yet another member of their kin. The clan has already suffered a huge loss with Abigail, and now Jake. Will DiMera Enterprises suffer as a result?

10. Business As Usual

While there will be mourning, Days spoilers for early August suggest that it’ll be “business as usual” at DiMera Enterprises. In fact, added teasers suggest that a few family members who are “driven” will look to “seize” any opportunities that land on their doorstep. With Kristen, EJ and Chad vying for ultimate control of their father’s company, who will push the hardest? They weren’t overly close to Jake, after all!

9. What’s Dr. Rolf Up To?

Dr. Rolf has a way of bringing people back from the afterlife. DOOL spoilers for August reveal that he’ll be “up to something” next month, and added teasers hint that Kristen will find out about his “plan”. Could this have to do with Jake’s passing? Is actor Brandon Barash done with Days? Could Rolf do something to bring Stefan back to life?

8. The Downfall of Gabi and Li

Things seem fine now, but could Gabi and Li’s relationship crack at the seams next month? This could certainly open the door for Stefan to return and reunite with Gabi. Days spoilers for August suggest that Li will find out that Ms. Hernandez has been lying to him. Will he give her a chance to explain, or instantly break things off?

7. Sarah’s Hypnotized!

Across town, a lot is set to happen next month when it comes to Sarah and Xander. DOOL spoilers suggest that Sarah will turn to Marlena Evans for help, and it sounds like Doc will do some hypnosis on the young lady. However, this will produce more questions than answers for Ms. Horton.

6. Sarah and Xandy Are On The Case!

As there will be a few more question marks added to the equation, DOOL spoilers indicate that “Xarah” will decide to team up to search for answers around Abigail’s passing. After all, Mrs. DiMera risked her life to save Sarah and went above and beyond to find out the truth for her. Horton will likely want to return the favor to ensure the person who hurt her cousin gets justice.

5. Mystery Solved…?

Abigail’s passing continues to stun fans, as viewers follow the twists and turns of this storyline. While the person who’s behind Mrs. DiMera’s stabbing might not be discovered by Salem PD anytime soon, will fans learn the truth? Days spoilers for the summer did hint that the killer would be revealed at some point, and with August being the last month of this season, it may be sooner than audiences think.

4. A Love Square On The Horizon

Days fans can already see how smitten Jada Hunter is with Eric Brady. Spoilers suggest she’ll have zero issues asking the cute former priest out, early on in August. However, added teasers also imply that someone will be a little jealous of the two. Despite being happily married to Rafe, Nicole may have a problem seeing her ex with another woman.

3. “Shelle” Reunion?

Both Belle and Shawn are seemingly inching back to each other. Will the super couple reunite this August? DOOL spoilers suggest that Evan and Shawn will learn the true paternity of baby Shawn this month. Once “Shelle” finds out that Jan was lying all along, they’ll likely reunite in an instant.

2. Will The Devil Return?

A cryptic DOOL spoiler states that between experimental drugs, masquerades and “Satan”, not everyone and everything is as it seems in the little town. No kidding! With Johnny wearing his “Devil suit” to his mom’s wedding, could the soap be foreshadowing a devilish return? In fact, could the above teaser be foreshadowing the idea that Satan will make a comeback?

1. “Masquerading” Killer

The above DOOL spoiler could also be about Abigail’s murder. Many fans online have speculated that “someone” (looking at you, Ava or Gwen!) could’ve stabbed Mrs. DiMera while wearing a “Sarah” mask. Did the Devil make them do it? Will that be Satan’s comeback? Jumping into someone’s body, having them place a mask on, and stabbing Abigail to cause chaos in the little town? It could be an act of “revenge” on the Devil’s part.
