Summertime sizzles in Salem, so what should Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans expect to see unfold during the next month? Two super couples bid adieu to the little town, while information continues to leak about Abigail’s murder, and time for some Fourth of July fun! 12. Goodbye, Elani!

DOOL spoilers suggest that Eli and Lani will head out of town in early July, as actor Lamon Archey and actress Sal Stowers exit the show. It’s unclear as to whether Elani will sneak out of town now that Lani confessed to TR Coates’s shooting, or if a plot twist will occur that has the super couple looking for a “fresh” start. Fans will have to tune in to find out!

11. Ciara and Ben Sail Off To A New Adventure!

DOOL spoilers for July also hint at the idea that Ciara and Ben (Cin) will be leaving Salem for a little while. Added teasers for early on in the month indicate that Ciara and Ben share major news with family and friends, and then they’ll “sail off” for an adventure. Hope is set to gift the couple something soon, so perhaps they get a houseboat and decide to hit the open water for the next chapter in their romance, as well.

10. Mourning Abigail

DOOL spoilers for early July imply that the town will gather for Abigail DiMera’s funeral next month. Anna and Tony return to Salem to attend the service, as other friends and family gather to say goodbye to the much-loved character. Added teasers note that Rafe will also make an arrest in her case; however, with many suspects creeping out of the woodwork, it’s hard to tell exactly who this will be. Regardless, it likely won’t be the person who actually did it!

9. EJ’s Confession

Days spoilers for early July suggest that EJ will make a confession of sorts to Chad. The good news is these two DiMera brothers are back on track. Sounds like there’s a chance that EJ could tell Chad about Clyde. If Rafe arrests someone, and EJ believes that Weston could be the culprit behind Abby’s, will he tell his brother about his little secret, even if it jeopardizes his plans for Weston?

8. Will Chad Fess Up, Too?

Could EJ confiding in Chad inspire him to fess up to his brother, as well? EJ has really been there for Chad during this difficult time and deserves to know the truth about Lucas’s involvement in Sami’s kidnapping. Sure, EJ has an inkling about it all, but no real proof. Will Chad tell EJ the truth or possibly be wrought with guilt as he also mourns the loss of his wife.

7. New Relationships Are Tested

A cryptic Days spoiler could offer some insight on certain situations for July. The teaser notes that “new relationships” will be tested by old flames. There’s a slew of new romances on the go, so could this be about Belle and EJ, now that Sami is in town? Then again, this may have to do with Rafe, Nicole, and Eric. Fans also can’t fluff off the fact that even though Jabi has moved on, there still seems to be unfinished business between the two.

6. How Long Can Lucas Hold On?

Speaking of Sami, Days spoilers hint that Lucas will continue to try and cover up his involvement in Sami’s kidnapping. With that said, how long can he hold onto this lie? He’s not the one behind Abigail’s murder; however, his drunken night might surface, and if it does, he’ll have a ton of explaining to do!

5. Fourth of July Fun (& Drama)

DOOL spoilers promise a ton of fireworks and drama for the Fourth of July! The show typically spotlights a BBQ or two every year but added teasers also reveal that a secret will surface during American Independence Day festivities in the little town. Is this “secret” about Abigail’s stabbing or something else?

4. Beyond Salem: Season Two

DOOL’s spin-off on Peacock is at it again! Beyond Salem, season two will run from July 11^th to the 15^th, with new episodes dropping daily. Current Days characters that will be featured in the series include Marlena, John, Steve, Kayla, Gabi, Ciara, Ben, and Li Shin. In addition, Hope and Bo will be episodes, as well as Kristen DiMera, Paul Narita (John’s son), and Tripp.

3. More On Beyond Salem

Beyond Salem will also feature some Days comebacks in the form of Harris Michaels (played by soap veteran Steve Burton), as well as Stephanie Johnson, Andrew Donovan, and Joey Johnson. New characters that will be introduced are Wendy Shin (likely linked to Li in some fashion), Phil Hellworth, and Angela (with no last name).

2. Hyping The Spin-Off

Much like last year, it looks as if current DOOL storylines could promote Beyond Salem, prior to its debut. Days spoilers imply that romance, action, and adventure will await a number of Salemites as they prepare to go “beyond” the little town. Sound like the newest Peacock instalment will be an interesting one!

1. Can Jan Be Trusted?

Across town, DOOL spoilers state that Jan has a plan when it comes to Shawn (the man, not the baby) and she’ll “lure” Mr. Brady to the docks at some point in July to fill him in on things. Will Spears crack and completely lose her mind again? She’s been hanging in there for a bit, but now that her baby has arrived, does she have something even more sinister planned for the man she’s been obsessed with for decades?
